Second Grand Prix victory of the season for Giacomo and Cash du Pratel: fastest of 11 in the jump-off (0/0, 39.74s) over a 1.55m course with 60 starters at the Etrea Equestrian Tour.
The CSI3* of Busto Arsizio closed with its most anticipated class, the Longines Ranking Grand Prix with €60,000 in prize money. Over the 1.55m track only 11 of the 60 starters reached the jump-off, where Giacomo Bassi and the generous Cash du Pratel (2012, Selle Français, L'Arc de Triomphe x Feofar de Rhodes) produced a flawless double clear in 39.74 seconds, a time nobody could approach. Switzerland's Bryan Smits (Verdi van 't Laerhof Z, 39.95) and Alain Jufer (Chaccoo de Lescant MM, 40.93) completed the podium. In March the same pair had already taken 3rd place in the CSI3* Grand Prix of Valencia.
